The Daily Star understands that Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is keen on securing a move to Manchester City.
The Chile international has been one of the Gunners’ stand out performers since arriving from Barcelona in the summer of 2014, racking up eighty-nine appearances in all competitions and scoring forty-one goals.
However, his future is uncertain and fuel was added to speculation that he is unhappy when he was substituted in Saturday’s win over Norwich City.
A host of clubs in Spain have also been linked with a move for the forward including Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
However, his desire to stay in the Premier League would see the Citizens favourites to secure his services.
If the move materializes he would become the latest in a long line of players to swaps the Emirates Stadium for the Etihad Stadium, following the likes of Gael Clichy. Bacaray Sagna and Samir Nasri among others.
