Sanchez set for shock Swansea switch

Swansea City are closing in on a shock loan move for Portugal international Renato Sanches, according to the Metro.

The Bayern Munich man had been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Liverpool though the Swans appear to won the race to secure his services.

Sanchez only moved to the German champions twelve months ago for a fee of £44m though featured in less than half of their Bundesliga games last season, failing to score.

Prior to his switch to Germany he played thirty-five times in all competitions in his one and only season in Benfica’s first team while he has been twelve times for Portugal.

His one and only international goal so far came at Euro 2016 on route to his side winning the competitions.

The Swans won for the first time in the league this season at the weekend beating Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park and can now be backed at 2/5 to stay up.
