According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Davinson Sanchez is open to the idea of leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
The defender has fallen way down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho, and while some believe he is more than good enough to fight his way back up there, it seems as if the man himself isn’t opposed to the prospect of moving on.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, however, is against the idea of selling him, clearly seeing something in Sanchez that perhaps Mourinho doesn’t.
If the deal does go through then there is a chance he could depart as soon as the January transfer window, perhaps to give all parties involved a chance to rip off the band aid.
Sanchez has the potential to do some big things in European football but within the current climate at Tottenham, he may not get the chance to prove that – which is a shame.
