Those are the words from Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc, who has made it clear that Jadon Sancho’s long term future does not lie at the club.
A lot of fans will understandably have mixed views about this, with some calling him a defeatist and some admiring his honesty. Either way, though, it’s not good news for Dortmund – unless you’re someone who purely decides to look at things from the perspective of money.
Regardless of whether you do or do not fall into that category, there is no way of getting around the fact that there is going to be an awful lot of people who will be interested in securing his services within the next few years.
The youngster recently attracted the attention of Manchester United, but nothing quite came to fruition.
