The futures of Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi remain uncertain, Borussia Dortmund Lucien Favre has revealed.
Sancho’s fantastic performances in the Bundesliga have attracted the interests of top clubs around Europe, namely Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea, but under the current circumstances, his potential price (believed to be around €120 million) will likely make his transfer away from the Signal Iduna Park this summer very difficult for any club.
On the other hand, Hakimi is at Dortmund on loan from Real, and the two clubs are yet to reach any kind of agreement on whether he would be staying in Germany for another year, or returning to Madrid.
Favre was asked about the two players directly, as relayed by Sky Sports, and admitted that the club currently don’t know definitely what would happen with them. Nonetheless, he hopes he will be able to call upon them both in 2020/21, and hasn’t ruled out the possibility.
