“He was invited by Man Utd, and he told them that we won’t sell in the summer for any money and that Sancho isn’t really interested in moving either”.
“Both his discussions with the club and mine with the consultants. A meeting did take place. Manchester United invited the consultant. But, according to what I know, the consultant told the club that no matter how much money they offer, we won’t let him go this summer.”
Those are the words of Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc, who has made it clear that there was some form of an approach for Jadon Sancho during the summer – but that they weren’t interested in selling him.
The Englishman has been able to rise up through the ranks of European football in the last few years courtesy of his spell with Dortmund, but now, fans are waiting to see whether or not he will make the jump back to English football.
