Sander Berge open to Manchester United transfer

Burnley defensive midfielder Sander Berge is open to a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that United are preparing a bid for Berge, and that the Norway international has said yes to a potential deal.

TEAMtalk has claimed that Burnley want £30 million in transfer fees for Berge, but United’s initial offer for Berge would be £25m inclusive of the add-ons part of the deal. The former Sheffield United star has already said yes to a potential move to Old Trafford, so personal terms would not be a problem.

Berge has been on the books of Burnley since the summer of 2023 when he joined after leaving Sheffield United and did well for the Clarets last season. The 26-year-old made 34 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Clarets last season. The defensive midfielder scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.
