Sandro set to join Spurs

Tottenham are set to complete the signing of Brazil midfielder Sandro in the near future, according to Internacional.

Spurs have long been linked with a move for the 21-year-old  and came close to signing the midfielder both last summer and in the January transfer window.

Internacional president Vitorio Piffero said: “I think that the transfer of Sandro to Tottenham will be arranged immediately because we are very near to the end of the agreement.

“I think we will put pen to paper before next weekend.

“Personally, I think that nothing can change this because there has been a total agreement between all the parties involved in the negotiation.”
