Sane signs Bayern Munich contract

According to a recent tweet from Fabrizio Romano, Leroy Sane has left Manchester City and signed a contract with German champions Bayern Munich.

A recent report from Sky Germany indicated that Sane had undergone the second part of his Bayern medical this morning, with the second section featuring cardiological and lung capacity tests. After leaving the hospital and returning to Bayern’s training facilities, it appears as if they’ve been able to get the deal done.

This is a move that has been in the works for longer than most fans and pundits can remember, with Sane being linked with Bayern as early as last summer. Pep Guardiola is well aware of the talent that he possesses, but it doesn’t appear as if he thinks he is necessary for City to pursue the Premier League title again next season.

Either way, though, he’s a player who we all need to be keeping an eye on.
