According to a recent report from Bild, Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane has encouraged David Alaba to stay with the German giants in the wake of interest from former Premier League champions Manchester City.
Sane, who made his way over to Bayern from City, seems eager to start fresh with his new club. In order to do so, however, he wants to have the best squad imaginable behind him – and Alaba could play quite an important role in that.
The two European juggernauts are both set for important transfer windows over the course of the next few months, and Sane knows more than anyone how important it will be for Bayern to maintain their structure.
The COVID-19 pandemic should ensure that we see a few bizarre moves in either direction, but either way, Sane will almost certainly have a great platform to succeed in Germany when the new season gets underway.
