Bundesliga leaders TSG Hoffenheim have found a replacement for injured star striker Vedad Ibisevic, having signed Ivory Coast forward Boubacar Sanogo.

Ibisevic was of great influence during the first half of the season but is sidelined for the rest of the season due to a heavy knee injury.

Sanogo is familiar with German football, having played for Kaiserslautern, Hamburger SV and Werder Bremen.

The striker, who made 13 international appearances so far, joins Hoffenheim on loan from Werder.
