Santos president denies agreement with Barca over Neymar

Santos president Luis Alvaro has moved to deny speculations that Barcelona have already agreed to sign Neymar.

Brazilian newspaper Estado de Sao Paulo yesterday reported that the Catalans had agreed a €60 million transfer fee for Neymar.

According to the same source, the youngster was supposed to arrive at Camp Nou in January 2013.

However, Santos president has now denied there is any truth in the reports.

“It is totally false. It’s information that is not true,” Luis Alvaro told AS.

“I have not signed anything nor have Santos. And, I am sure Neymar didn’t signed anything.”
