Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro says the club are prepared to sell star midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso should the right offer come along.
The highly rated playmaker is followed by a number of high-profile clubs and he has recently expressed a desire to move to Europe.
The 22-year-old was on a verge of a switch to AC Milan last summer, and the Rossoneri are set to reignite their interest in the youngster.
Inter Milan and few other European giants are also keen and Santos president has now revealed that Ganso will be allowed to leave if that is his desire.
“Santos do not want unhappy players,” Luis Alvaro Ribeiro told Radio Globo. “If he wants to leave and a bid meets our valuation, he can leave.
“The player is eager to shine and that is something that is in both his interests and the club’s. If he plays well, certainly better offers will come in the middle of the year.”
Paulo Henrique Ganso started his professional career at Santos and has since amassed 57 league appearances, scoring 10 goals in the process.
The 22-year-old is considered a key part of the Brazil national team and has been given the famed number 10 shirt by coach Mano Menezes.
