Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri believes that Olivier Giroud will remain at Stamford Bridge next season, according to the Mail Online.
The thirty-two-year old has spoke of a desire to return to France after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain.
However, Sarri is confident the former Arsenal forward has a future with the Blues.
Since signing from the Gunners last January, the France international has racked up fifty-four appearances in all competitions, scoring sixteen goals.
He has started just seven league games this season with most of his outings coming as a substitute.
Internationally, he has been capped eighty-nine times by his country, scoring thirty-six goals and was part of the squad that won the World Cup in Russia last summer.
Chelsea host West Ham United on Monday evening, and Giroud can be backed at a price of 4/1 to score at any time.
