According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is now expected to leave Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window. Sarri has had a mixed season with the Blues ever since arriving last year, although for the most part, fans have been pretty vocal in their desire to see him go. When he leaves he is expected to make a switch back over to Italian football, where AC Milan and Roma are both waiting to make him offers to become their next manager. The rumours linking him with Roma have certainly been strong as of late, and it seems as if the move is going to happen one way or the other – regardless of whether or not Chelsea achieve their goal of qualifying for the Champions League.
The interesting thing, above everything else, will be how his tenure at Chelsea is remembered in the wake of what has been a pretty turbulent second half of the campaign.
