According to reports in Italy, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is interested in further adding to the club’s ranks in the form of Alessio Romagnoli and Mattia Caldara. The two AC Milan defenders are considered to be key parts of the Italian side’s squad, but given the business that Sarri has done already, it doesn’t seem impossible to consider the possibility of them joining the Blues in the near future.
Chelsea have made a fantastic start to the Premier League season with four wins from their first four games, despite not playing all too great at points during those games. Still, the only way is up for them as a football club, and it appears as if they’re aiming high in an attempt to make an unlikely push for the title.
The report suggests that Cesc Fabregas could well be offered up as part of the deal to bring the two defenders to the club.
