Former AC Milan hero Dejan Savicevic believes Montenegro have a chance of beating Italy in the World Cup qualifier in Lecce on Wednesday night.
Savicevic is currently president of the Montenegro FA.
“We will not be ashamed if we lose but if Italy are distracted then we will go for it,” Savicevic told Il Corriere Della Sera.
“We are very strong up front but we have a very weak defence. We are not worried about the game tomorrow. I have seen Italy play.
“The defence is really good and I like Andrea Dossena. Gennaro Gattuso and Daniele De Rossi are good but Italy will be without Andrea Pirlo and Mauro Camoranesi and this is good for us.”
