AC Milan have announced midfielder Clarence Seedorf suffered a hamstring injury in Wednesday’s Champions League victory over Arsenal.

The 35-year-old was forced off just 12 minutes into the 4-0 win over the Londoners at the San Siro, and subsequent scans have revealed a minor muscle strain.

However, according to Milan’s official website, it could be another week before the full extent of the damage is established.

The Dutchman will miss Sunday’s trip to Cesena and is in doubt for next weekend’s crucial Serie A clash with title rivals Juventus at San Siro.
