Peru secured a World Cup spot in Russia thanks to a 2-0 victory over New Zealand on Thursday morning.
Jefferson Farfan and Christian Ramos propelled the Peruvians towards the final showpiece after a goalless stalemate in New Zealand, but it was Christian Cueva who stole headlines for a moment in the second leg.
As he tried to take a corner in the opening stages of the match, Cueva ended up kicking a corner flag and was forced to move away from the ball, waiting calmly for the New Zealand players to re-start the attack.
It was kinda funny.
