Bundesliga outfit Schalke are keen to resolve the future of full-back Sead Kolasinac as soon as possible, Sport Bild has learned.
The highly rated footballer is free to speak to interested sides as his contract at Veltins Arena is due to expire in June, and he is taking his time with the decision.
However, Schalke manager Christian Heidel wants the issue resolved in a timely manner, so that they can start searching for a replacement if Kolasinac opts to leave.
“Without exerting any pressure, I told him that it was important to decide in a timely manner,” Heidel confessed to Sport Bild.
The 23-year-old reportedly wants around €20 million for a three-year deal and signing on fee, and while Schalke have the means to match the player’s demands, they seem unwilling to do so.
Meanwhile, Italian champions Juventus are believed to be leading the chase for Sead Kolasinac, while Arsenal and Chelsea are in the mix as well.
The Bianconeri also attempted to recruit the Bosnian in January, but could not find an agreement with the Miners.
