(GSM) – Schalke 04 coach Felix Magath has again expressed his desire to sign Real Madrid legend Raúl.
Schalke has offered Raúl a two-year-deal as he prepares to leave Real this summer.
“He would come here (Schalke) because it he seeks a challenge to do well in the Champions League again,” said Magath. “He wants to play and score goals.
“A player like him will always find motivation. He wants to play in the Champions League, and not make money by being a substitute.
“By playing in the Champions League, it makes it easier to imagine Raúl joining us, we have this great opportunity and we must seize it. Otherwise, it would be impossible.”
