German Bundesliga outfit Schalke are in danger of losing three important footballers, according to Bild.
The Miners have been on a major downtrend of late and they are now in a very difficult position as three talented youngsters apparently don’t see their future at Veltins Arena.
According to reports, Thilo Kehrer and Max Meyer have already rejected new deals from the club as they have two and one year left to run on existing contracts, while Leon Goretzka is expected to do the same.
The 22-year-old has emerged as a target for Bayern Munich and few more top clubs, and just like Meyer, he only has a contract until June 2018.
Each of the three players had an important role to play last term in spite of their fragile age, and Schalke chiefs are obviously prepared to go the extra mile to persuade them to stay.
However, as things stand now, they might have no choice but to cash in on the trio in the near future.
