Schalke edge closer to Jonjoe Kenny

According to a recent report from Sky Germany, talks are currently ongoing between Schalke and Everton over the possible loan signing of Jonjoe Kenny. The youngster has been heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer, and is widely considered to be one of the most exciting young players in Europe. Schalke are one of the many clubs that are believed to be interested in going after him, in addition to Burnley and Crystal Palace. Schalke are expected to make a final decision within the next three to five days regarding whether or not they’ll go through with the proposed deal, as they attempt to see whether or not they can raise the funds. The deal would be done on a loan basis as previously mentioned, although there will still be an option to buy.

Either way, it looks set to be a busy summer transfer window for both clubs.
