German newspaper Bild understands that Schalke are set to make a move on Augsburg star Andre Hahn.
The 23-year-old has emerged as one of league’s hottest prospects and everything suggests he will be leaving his current employers for greener pastures in the summer.
Borussia M’gladbach were the first side to express interest in his services, but Bild has learned that Schalke are also keen.
And with the player’s release clause standing at mere €2.25 million, the Miners are hoping to conclude the deal before other interested sides have time to act.
Andre Hahn has been in stunning form this season, having managed 10 goals and 7 assists in 23 Bundesliga outings. He has also earned the tag of league’s fastest player and is predicted a bright future in the game.
