Bundesliga high-flyers Schalke are readying summer bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Sebastian Rudy, according to Bild.
Having secured a second-place finish in German Bundesliga, the Miners are looking to reinforce their ranks in the summer and the Germany international has emerged as their top target.
With both Leon Goretzka and Max Meyer leaving on a free transfer, Schalke are determined to bring Sebastian Rudy to Veltins Arena.
The club officials have already established initial contact with the player’s agents and they hope to sign the 28-year-old on loan with an option to buy.
Sebastian Rudy joined Bayern on a free transfer from Hoffenheim last summer and went on to make 24 Bundesliga appearances.
