Bundesliga outfit Schalke are the latest high-profile club to have been linked with a summer move for Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulou, according to Le 10 Sport.
The Cameroon international is set to become another high-quality footballer to leave Stade Velodrome on a free transfer and he has yet to make a decision on his next club.
Considering that he is available on a free transfer, N’Koulou will have plenty of offers to choose from, with Schalke one of the interested sides.
The Miners will attempt to pair the Marseille defender with his compatriot Joel Matip, but that is not going to be an easy task.
Nicolas N’Koulou, 26, has spent last five years at Stade Velodrome, having joined from Monaco, making 162 Ligue 1 appearances.
He is now set to embark on a new challenge in his career, with a big club move clearly on the cards.
