La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Inter Milan have agreed to sign Schalke defender Thilo Kehrer.
The two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement that will see the talented footballer join the Nerazzurri in the summer transfer window.
Kehrer had just over a year left on his deal at Veltins Arena, and that was one of the reasons why the Miners accepted the offer from Italy.
The product of Schalke’s youth academy has yet to be handed his senior debut, and he was only once included in the match day squad having been an unused substitute in the 4-0 triumph over Stuttgart.
Kehrer has, however, impressed playing for the club’s Under-19 side in UEFA Youth League and domestic competitions, and he clearly did enough to earn a contract with Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri ended a three-match winning run as they were beaten by Fiorentina, but can be backed at 3/1 to return to winning ways against Napoli.
