Schick, Defrel join Roma on permanent basis

AS Roma have completed the signing of Patrick Shick and Gregoire Defrel on permanent basis, according to club’s half-year accounts.

The Giallorossi recruited both players on loan with an obligation to buy, and it has now been revealed the buy-out clauses have already been activated.

At the same time, Seydou Doumbia and Juan Manuel Iturbe have been sold to Sporting CP and Tijuana Club respectively.

Neither Schick nor Defrel have managed to impress this season, netting just one league goal between them.

The Czech forward did miss quite a few matches due to injury and AS Roma officials hope he will soon rediscover his scoring touch.
