Kasper Schmeichel is happy at Leicester City despite what his father said last week, according to manager Claude Puel.
Manchester United legend, former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel spoke to BeIN Sports last week about his son and his future, and he expressed doubts in Puel as the right man for the manager job at Leicester. He said the Foxes were a good club with good players, but also that they needed a good manager who would be able to get the best out of those players. In the end he indicated that Kasper might look to leave the club soon, but stay in the Premier League.
Puel responded by saying he had held a conversation with his goalkeeper on the subject, and that he found him happy. He also pointed out that Schmeichel recently signed a new contract and that he is aware of the project that is being put into place.
