Barcelona are eyeing a surprise move for Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according to the Mirror.
The La Liga leaders are eyeing a replacement for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who’s days at the Nou Camp appear to be numbered.
Schmeichel has impressed this season, with his clean sheet on Saturday the eleventh he has kept in the Premier League in 2016.
He moved to the East Midlands’ outfit from Leeds United in the summer of 2011 and has since racked up almost two hundred and twenty appearances in all competitions.
The Denmark international began his career with Manchester City, moving onto Notts County in 2009 and the Leeds a year later while he has also had loan spells with Darlington, Bury, Falkirk, Cardiff City and Coventry City.
He has won twenty caps for his country and was part of the squad that attended the 2012 European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
