Schneiderlin staying at Everton

“If he is linked with other clubs, it is not important to me,” said Silva today. “Morgan is part of our squad. When I finished the squad last Thursday, he will be here until the end, until January, with all of them.”

Those are the words of Everton manager Marco Silva, who has revealed that Morgan Schneiderlin will indeed be staying at the club during the summer transfer window as opposed to leaving for a club abroad. Morgan has consistently been a featured member of the squad over the course of the last twelve months, and understandably, he’s been drawing a great deal of interest from overseas. Alas, it seems as if he’s much more comfortable in the Premier League, and it’ll be interesting to see whether he sticks to his guns and decides to stay where it’s familiar or take a leap of faith – probably for a lot more money.
