Competition: International friendly
Market: Scotland to win against Northern Ireland
Odds: 3/4 @ William Hill

Scotland host rivals Northern Ireland tonight, with the two sides locking to build up some momentum for their Euro 2016 qualifier to come days later. Both sides have been enjoying impressive form in the build-up to tonight’s game, so it’s promises to be a competitive clash at Hampden Park, Glasgow.

Northern Ireland have surprised many with their performances in the qualifiers, but they have gone around nine years without winning a friendly. It’s an unwanted record that they will be desperate to end, and recent form suggests they more than have the quality to do so.

Scotland will be favourites for victory this evening, with Gordon Strachan’s side boasting a much stronger squad featuring the likes of Alan Hutton (Aston Villa), Andrew Robertson (Hull City), Darren Fletcher (West Brom), Steven Naismith (Everton)and Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn Rovers).

Prior to a recent defeat to England, Scotland had won three and drawn two of their last five internationals, so they have been performing well of late. As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 3/4 for the hosts to win tonight.

Bet: Scotland to see past Northern Ireland in tonight’s international friendly @ 3/4 with William Hill >>
