La Lida side SD Eibar moved on to confirm the signing of Valencia goalkeeper Yoel Rodriguez.
Spanish shot stopper was loaned to Ipurua Municipal Stadium last season and SD Eibar decided to exercise the purchase option and make Yoel’s deal permanent.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper has signed a two-year deal with Los Armeros and will remain at the club until the summer of 2019.
Yoel Rodriguez made 25 La Liga appearances and 5 more in Copa del Rey for Eibar last term and was particularly praised for his performance in the final round of La Liga against Barcelona.
The Galician goalkeeper starred on the night despite conceding four in a 4-2 defeat on Sunday night.
It was Yoel who kept Eibar in the match with a string of fine performances however, whereas the former Celta and Valencia man also stopped a penalty from Leo Messi.
