Sead Kolasinac on Liverpool radar

Jurgen Klopp has had plenty of problems on left-back as he was forced to convert midfielder James Milner into the role to replace out-of-form Alberto Moreno.

The German tactician has reportedly identified a new long-term solution for the right-back position with German publication Bild claiming that Sead Kolasinac could join Liverpool on a free transfer next summer.

Bosnia & Herzegovina international’s contract is set to expire at the end of 2016/17 campaign and the host of European clubs are believed to be lining up to snap the 23-year-old defender.

Wolfsburg, Manchester City, West Ham and Chelsea are believed to be monitoring the left-back, who has enjoyed plenty of stability over the last couple of seasons for Schalke.

Having successfully recovered from a crippling ACL injury, Kolasinac made 23 Bundesliga appearances in 2015/16, but the aggressive, front-footed defender has so far been used sparingly in only 5 league games up to this point.
