Daily Mirror understands that Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion are showing interest in Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac.
The highly rated football will be out of contract at the end of the season and he has only now been offered a new deal.
Kolasinac has moved to confirm that he has been offered a contract extension, but that does not mean that he will be staying at Veltins Arena beyond the current season.
Liverpool and West Bromwich both see the Bosnia-Herzegovina international as a good potential signing and they will have a chance to submit their offers from 1st January.
Even though he is predominantly used at left-back, Kolasinac can operate in the heart of defence and middle of the park, and he already has a great deal of top flight experience despite turning 23 in June.
Kolasinac is the product of Schalke’s youth academy and he has so far made 76 Bundesliga appearances.
