Sean Dyche wants Burnley striker Wout Weghorst at Everton

Everton are interested in signing Wout Weghorst from Burnley in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Everton manager Sean Dyche personally wants the former Manchester United loanee at Goodison Park.

Dyche signed Weghorst when he was in charge of Burnley. The 30-year-old Netherlands international striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Manchester United from the Clarets. The striker made 10 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Red Devils, providing one assist in the process.

During his loan spell at United, Weghorst made four starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League, scoring one goal in the process. Everton could do with a new striker, as scoring goals was a big issue for them last season.
