Juventus youngster Sebastian Giovinco was delighted after scoring his first goal for the club against Lecce.

A last-gasp header by Amauri gave Juventus the victory, but it was Giovinvo who had put them ahead.

“We knew this was a difficult ground and we had to deal with several absences, but it was crucial to get a win,” Giovinco told Sky Sport Italia.

“We got the result and I also managed to hit the back of the net. I am very happy that I finally got off the mark.

“When you have someone like Alessandro Del Piero to teach you tricks, you learn as fast as possible.

“I’m glad that I can play alongside such great champions and I want to thank all my teammates, the Coach and the club because they have shown great faith in me.

“Of course scoring this goal will lift my morale and make everything seem easier.”
