Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has admitted he could sign a new deal with the Rossoneri.
The Dutchman has just one month left on his contract at San Siro and was expected to leave the club at the end of the season, just like Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Massimo Ambrosini and Filippo Inzaghi.
Recent reports suggested that the 36-year-old was on the verge of joining Brazilian side Botafogo, but the player hasn’t yet made a decision on his future.
In spite of heavy speculations linking him with a move away from San Siro, Seedorf confirms that there is a possibility of staying at Milan.
“I have not yet decided on my future, but I will keep playing,” Seedorf told Sky Sport Italia.
“Where will I play? I have not decided yet, but it could also be here.”
The veteran midfielder has spent last ten years at San Siro following a move from bitter rivals Inter and he had a big role to play in Milan’s Serie A and Champions League campaigns last season.
Seedorf managed to score 2 goals in 18 Serie A appearances last term, while he couldn’t get on the score sheet in eight Champions League games.
