Galatasaray defender Semih Kaya is being linked with a January switch to Inter Milan, reports Tuttosport.
While Walter Mazzarri was readying winter bid for FC Porto stopper Rolando, new boss Roberto Mancini seems to have other ideas.
According to Tuttosport, the former Manchester City manager has set his sights on Galatasaray’s Semih Kaya.
The pair worked together at Turk Telekom Arena and Mancini now wants the 23-year-old to join him at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Semih Kaya has spent his entire professional career up to date as a Galatasaray footballer, albeit enjoying loan spells with Gaziantepspor and Kartalspor.
He has made a total of 94 Super Lig appearances for the Turkish giants, while featuring in another 20 Champions League fixtures.
At the same time, Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on FC Basel hotshot Fabian Schar, who will be out of contract in the summer, but also has a long list of suitors among Europe’s top clubs.
