Despite Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor’s successful return from injury, taking advantage of Francesc Fabregas’ assists three times in two games, Villarreal midfielder Marcos Senna insists that he sees nothing special with the leggy striker.
“Adebayor didn’t impress me,” Senna explained in This Is London. “At my age, and with everything I have seen in football, it is difficult to find a player who impresses me.
“Adebayor is a good player, but you cannot say he is a superstar yet. He still has a long way to go before he reaches what Henry did for Arsenal.”
