Senturk saves the day for Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce applied pressure on local rivals Galatasaray, as the Istanbul side beat Antalyaspor 1-2 this Saturday.

Colin Kazim Richards put ‘Fener’ in the lead after just 11 minutes at the Antalya Atatürk Stadyumu, but Tunisian Ali Zitouni balanced things ten minutes later, 1-1.

The match appeared to head for a draw until international forward Semih Senturk netted a winning goal for the visitors in the 90th minute.

Fenerbahce have 21 points, a perfect record after seven games. Galatasaray host Eskisehirspor on Sunday, in an attempt to equal Fenerbahce’s performance.
