September 10th: Sunday’s EURO Qualifying Double – 5/1 Special, Tips & Predictions

With the European Championship qualifiers once against stealing centre stage this weekend, Sunday promises another stacked schedule from across the continent.

With the likes of Holland and Serbia continuing on their respective qualifying adventures, we have found a pair of interesting betting markets that are worth keeping an eye out for.

14:00 Kazakhstan vs Northern Ireland

While Kazakhstan might have opened their qualifying adventure earlier in the year tipped as a landslide underdog in Group H, Sunday’s hosts have gained plenty of praise. Excelling their Nations League romp last year, the Hawks will now be seeking an immediate response here.

Missing out on what they had billed as a golden chance in midweek as they suffered a 1-0 loss against Finland, Magomed Adiyev’s side will know that they face a crucial showdown in Astana.

Nevertheless, signing off June’s international break with back-to-back victories, Sunday’s hosts have still won three of their last four Group H appearances and the mood in their camp should be at a continued high.

Smelling the chance to make a real statement here, Kazakhstan should be relishing Northern Ireland’s arrival this weekend.

In the midst of what has become a major qualifying nightmare, Michael O’Neil’s men have come under plenty of scrutiny.

Putting in a nightmare display earlier in the week as they eventually slumped to an action-packed 4-2 loss away at Slovenia, the one-time Stoke boss has now seen his downbeat squad lose each of their previous four Group H appearances.

Likewise, recording just a trio of wins from any of their last 13 appearances across all formats, O’Neil’s men should also be worried by their most recent meeting against Sunday’s hosts.

Hit with a shock 1-0 loss when they welcomed Kazakhstan to Belfast on June 19th, a home draw no bet can be found at appealing odds here.

19:45 Lithuania vs Serbia

Suffering a World Cup nightmare out in Qatar over the winter, Serbia were desperate to show no signs of a hangover this time around. However, remarkably claiming just a single point from any of their three appearances out in the Middle East back in December, Sunday’s guests are still struggling to find much stability.

Marking their return to qualifying duties a few days ago as they eventually fell to a 2-1 loss at home against Hungary, the Eagles will be more than aware that they must claim an immediate response this weekend.

Still looking over their shoulder at Group G and desperate to avoid what would be a heavyweight upset here, Dragan Stojkovic will be calling on Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic to spearhead his charge on Sunday night.

Notching three goals in his four qualifying appearances this year and with no player in Serbia’s camp producing a better return, the ex-Fiorentina striker has also enjoyed a bright start while on domestic duties.

Bagging a pair of gals from his first three Serie A outings, Vlahovic should be smelling another golden chance here.

On the flip side, while Lithuania might have marked their return to qualifying duties with an action-packed 2-2 draw at home against Montenegro earlier in the week, Sunday’s hosts will know that they face a huge challenge in Kaunas.

In fact, the Yellows have failed to muster a single win from any of their last 13 straight appearances across all competitions – a run that stems back over the past 18 months.

Likewise, watching Vlahovic find the net as Serbia claimed a 2-0 victory in the reverse meeting between Sunday’s opponents back on March 24th, we are expecting a similar outcome here.
