Really enjoying life under new boss Ange Postecoglou and quickly gaining a reputation for their free-flowing approach, Saturday’s hosts are now dreaming of the chance to mount a genuine top-four charge. Last seen heading into the international break with another eye-catching display as they eventually landed a 5-2 victory away at Burnley, the former Celtic boss has seen his high-flying squad gain a string of plaudits. Mustering 10 points from their opening four Premier League appearances and marking their return from the fortnight interval sat second in the table, Tottenham will be calling on their new attacking talisman to extend on his bright start to life in north London. Once again finding the net away at Turf Moor last time out and notching a pair of goals from his first four appearances, England international James Maddison should be smelling a real chance here. While Sheffield United might have got their first point on the board last time out as they played out a 2-2 draw against fellow strugglers Everton, Saturday’s guests are facing a major uphill battle this time around. Shockingly crashing out of the EFL Cup last month at home against League One outfit Lincoln, Paul Heckingbottom’s side should be bracing themselves for a heavyweight challenge this weekend.

Heading into the international break with what was a routine 5-1 drumming at the hands of defending Premier League champions Manchester City, Fulham will certainly be seeking an immediate response here. Overcoming what was a tricky run of fixtures prior to September’s fortnight interval, the Cottagers should still find the mood in their camp at a continued high. Gaining plenty of plaudits last season as they clinched a top-half finish on their Premier League return, Marco Silva’s men will also be excited to make a return to west London this weekend. Last seen at Craven Cottage extending on their EFL Cup adventure as they edged past a high-flying Tottenham, the former Everton boss will be smelling the chance for his side to lay down a real statement of intent here. Hoping to skyrocket their way into the top-10, Fulham will be looking to cash in on a Luton side that are more than aware that they face a major uphill struggle this season. While the Hatters might still be at the heart of a famous fairytale, Saturday’s guests are tipped as a landslide contender to be hit with an immediate Championship return. Last seen suffering a 2-1 defeat at home against West Ham, Rob Edwards’ side have lost each of their opening three Premier League appearances by an aggregate score of 9-1. Watching Fulham claim a stunning 7-0 romp when they welcomed Luton to Craven Cottage last year, we are expecting a similar home victory this weekend.
