Rightfully tipped as a landslide contender to make even more Ligue 1 history, Luis Enrique’s side have now won four of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Opening their Champions League adventure with a 2-0 win against German giants Borussia Dortmund earlier in the month, the former Barcelona boss has seen his superstar squad continue to shine with their clinical performances in the final third. Bagging 15 strikes in just their previous five contests across all fronts, PSG will be excited by a trip to the Stade Gabriel-Montpied this weekend. Despite shocking many as they claimed a top-half finish last season, it is fair to say that Clermont have come crashing back down to earth this time around. Last seen getting hit with a 2-1 defeat away at Le Havre, Saturday’s guests are enduring a real Ligue 1 struggle. Marking their return from September’s international break with a toothless 1-0 defeat at home against Nantes, the Lancers have collected just a single point from their first six top-flight appearances.
