Serge Aurier set to join Tottenham

Radio Monte Carlo claims that Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier is set to join Tottenham Hotspur.

Even though the Ivorian was hoping to sign for Manchester United, the Saints only reached an agreement with Spurs, who offered some €5 million more than their Premier League rivals.

As a result, Aurier is on the way to London, where he also needs to sort out some administrative problems before the transfer can go through.

Spurs were in the market for a high-profile right-back after sanctioning the Kyle Walker sale and they seem to have found their man.

Aurier performed admirably at Parc des Princes, albeit being at the centre of several much publicised incidents, meaning his behaviour needs to change if he is to succeed in English Premier League.

The 24-year-old made a total of 81 Ligue 1 appearances for the Saints, scoring 5 goals and setting up another 15.
