Former Arsenal starlet Serge Gnabry has on Sunday signed a three-year deal with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Bavarian giants.
The 21-year-old joined Werder Bremen last summer after failing to make a breakthrough in the Premier League.
Bayern Munich have been impressed with his progress at Bremen and decided to make a move for the player who scored 11 goals in 27 games in Germany.
The forthcoming summer transfer market could bring another move for Serge Gnabry, however, as the young Germany international is likely to be immediately loaned out of Bayern Munich, according to reports from German media outlet Kicker.
Hoffenheim are reportedly keen to take Gnabry on a season-long deal away from Allianz Arena, where former Arsenal star looks set to face stiff competition for places.
In order to avoid stopping his further progress, Bayern Munich are believed to be open to loaning Gnabry, but his definite squad status will depend on Bayern’s further transfer moves.
