The Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos finds himself in hot water once again after leaving Viktoria Plzen defender Milan Havel with a bloody nose after a tough elbow challenge on Wednesday night.
Notoriously perceived as a dirty player, Sergio Ramos has a long history of on-pitch incidents last of which occurred in the Champions League final when he injured the Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah.
The controversial Los Blancos centre-back did nothing to reassure critics as he raised elbow while passing by Milan Havel last night, catching him in the face and leaving him on the ground with a bloody face.
The incident attracted plenty of attention on social media and Sergio Ramos himself took it to Twitter to apologise to the Plzen player.
A victory to build on and also to learn from. Football always teaches you things and tonight I shouldn’t have gone into the challenge like that. Milan, it wasn’t my intention to injure you. Get well soon 💪🏼 #HalaMadrid https://t.co/NZcWRAwI0x
