Sergio Romero wants Man Utd exit

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is seriously thinking about leaving Old Trafford in January, according to the Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old is desperate to remain Argentina number one ahead of next year’s World Cup and he fears the lack of first team football will hinder his chances.

Romero only made four appearances for the Red Devils this season and he is now considering a January exit.

The highly rated footballer kept his place in the Argentina starting line-up in spite of struggling for game time, but he is worried head coach Jorge Sampaoli would drop him if the situation remains the same.

Sergio Romero made mere 6 Premier League appearances since joining from Sampdoria two and a half years ago, but he already has 93 Argentina caps to his name.
