Atalanta goalkeeper Andrea Consigli is followed by a number of Serie A giants, according to the player’s representative.
The 25-year-old has really shone this season and was subsequently linked with a summer exit from Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.
The player’s representative confirms top Italian clubs are showing interest in his client’s services.
“Consigli is now a mature player,” Andrea D’Amico told Radio Lombardia. “He’s a great young goalkeeper who has demonstrated his growth.”
D’Amico explains that Atalanta are ready to cash in on their prized asset at the end of the season.
“He’s one of the best goalkeepers in Serie A right now and Atalanta will be happy to negotiate his sale with interested clubs.
“Which sides? Certainly those of a high level.”
The highly rated keeper is a product of famous Atalanta youth academy, but he wasn’t given a real chance in Bergamo until 2008, after he had completed loan spells at Sambenedettese and Rimini.
This is his fourth season as a first choice keeper at Atalanta and could easily be his last one with top Italian clubs lining up for his signature.
Cosingli has amassed 21 caps for Italy Under-21 side, while he made three appearances at the 2008 Olympics.
