Serie A giants to bid for Uruguayan hotshot

Serie A giants Inter and Fiorentina are readying summer bids for Bologna midfielder Gaston Ramirez, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 20-year-old Uruguayan has enjoyed a remarkable season at Bologna after arriving from Penarol last summer and he is now tipped to join one of the Italian giants.

Fiorentina and Inter have already enquired about the player’s availability and the two clubs are set to make official bids.

Given the club’s poor financial situation, Bologna may be forced to sell their most prized asset in the summer, especially since they are still paying installments for the midfielder.

Ramirez has already earned two senior caps for Uruguay and is widely considered as one of the hottest prospects in Uruguayan football.
